Burt founded Burt B. Holmes and Associates (the precursor to The Holmes Organisation) in 1963. Though he sold the company in 1998, Burt remains a valued consultant and still offices at the company headquarters.

In addition to his success with The Holmes Organisation, Burt co-founded Quiktrip Corporation and currently serves as a director of the boards of Quiktrip and LIC Corp. He is also the president and director of Leaders Life Insurance Company, American Institute of Medical Technology and National Occupational Health Services. Burt’s past business ventures include serving as founder, owner or director of Hurricane Trading Company, Gas Energy Development Co., Day Schools Inc., Healthfood Associates/Akin’s, Utica National Bank and National Bank of Commerce. He was Chairman of the Board at The University of Tulsa and the Gilcrease Museum Association and is currently the Chairman of the Oklahoma Centennial Botanical Garden.

Ann-Marie is the current Chairperson of the NetVU Host Committee for the National Conference where she also serves as a speaker for various accounting sessions. Ann-Marie currently services as Board Member, Treasurer for DVIS Call/Rape and the Chairperson of the Finance Committee. He has a working knowledge of IRS “Section 125” plans and is currently working to implement an online benefit communication and enrollment system. Scott is the property claims manager with responsibilities for services in the area of field investigation of damage, claims management, property damage recovery and claims litigation management. He has special expertise in management of claim negotiations, billing and adjustment for various utilities and government entities. Scott is a licensed claims adjuster in Oklahoma and his methodology of collecting evidence at a loss reflects his training in Criminal Justice. This background and his unique ability to create AutoCAD drawings of the damage area assists with both the submission of the claim to the adjuster and also gives him the ability to fully document the scene to establish liability.

Tim provides a broad range of risk management consulting and specialized program design on issues including property, casualty, directors’ and officers’ liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability and excess liability. His special areas of expertise are “ageing” services including hospice, home health and long-term care facilities. Tim also specializes in complex and large workers’ compensation accounts that often require alternative risk transfer. Tim attended Oral Roberts University for undergrad, The University of Tulsa for graduate studies and the National Alliance School for Producer Development in Plymouth, MA.

She is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business, Alpha Chi National College Honor Society and Tulsa Young Professionals.

Linda has been in the insurance industry since 1979. She started her career with our founder’s father, Dan P. Holmes, who many still remember as “Mr. Highway 33.” Linda worked at Dan P. Holmes & Associates until its closing in 1990. She then joined Tom Gilbert Insurance and also did a stint with Farmers Insurance Group. Linda returned to the Holmes family in 1996, bringing her experience in claims, bond underwriting and personal lines to The Holmes Organisation.
